Workshop  on  Hospital  Accreditation

Accreditation  of  Hospitals  is  the  need  of  hour.  It  demonstrates  the  commitment  of  the  hospitals  to  provide  quality  care  to  all  types  of  patients.  With  globalization  of  economic  interests  and  boom  in  the  health  tourism,  stake  holders  are  insisting  on  accreditation  of  hospitals  in  our  country.   

The  National  Accreditation  Board  for  Hospital  and  Health  Care  Providers  (NABH)  is  a  constituent  board  of  Quality  Council  of  India  (QCI).  It  has  been  entrusted  to  establish  and  operate  accreditation  programme  for  health  care  organization  in  our  country.  The  mission  of  the  NABH  is  to  ensure  that  all  Indian  Health  Care  institutions  accept  and  adopt  their  indigenous  model  of  standrds  and  accreditation  methodology  which  are  in  line  with  the  requirements,  practices  ethics,  affordability  and  culture  and  ethos  of  the  Indian  Health  Care  delivery  system.    

Symbiosis  Department  of  Health  Sciences  (SDHS),  a  constituent  of  Symbiosis  International  Educational  Centre  Deemed  University  in  association  with  NABH  will  organize  a  two  day  workshop.  The  main  objective  of  the  workshop  is  to  create  an  awareness  and  also  educate  Health  care  Providers  about  the  NABH  standards,  their  objective  elements  and  the  accreditation  process.

Hospital Administrators, Medical Insurance Professionals, NGO Officials involved in Health Care etc.
Registration fees Rs.3000/- up-to 15th November 2006.
Rs.3500/- 9th November 2006 onward.
