 ITLS: Advanced Trauma Course

Endorsed by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP)

ITLS is a non profit global organization dedicated to preventing death and disability from trauma through education and emergency trauma care. Over the past 20 years, ITLS has established 60 chapters and training sites all over the world and has trained thousands of individuals in trauma care using a tried and proven method endorsed by the American College of Emergency Physicians.

THE COURSE: The ITLS Advanced Trauma Course is a 16 hour comprehensive course covering the skills necessary for rapid assessment, resuscitation, stabilization and transportation of trauma patients. The primary objectives of the course are to teach the correct sequence of evaluation and the techniques of resuscitation and packaging a patient.

FOR WHOM? Anesthetists, Intensivists, Emergency physicians, Neuro-surgeons, Orthopedic Surgeons, General Surgeons, Medical officers, Houseman, Paramedics, Nurses and for anybody who is involved with managing trauma.
