The demand for professionals who can provide diagnostic services has been growing at a much faster pace than the number being trained every year. With this in mind the Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences has developed innovative programmes in this allied health sector.
These courses include both theoretical & practical knowledge of the Diagnostic Investigations and equipments as applicable to the health care sector today. They introduce students to emerging technologies and their application to the clinical laboratory & imaging sector, thereby helping them understand the finer professional and technical responsibilities of the field. Students spend half their learning time in hospital set-ups where they are exposed to actual hands on practical training.
The excellently structured programme equips the students to handle the rapid pace of technological development in the medical sciences, be it in the laboratory or the dark room. In the last semester of both the degree programmes students are taught additional modules on Management issues relevant to the respective healthcare domain. It emphasizes yet again on a multi disciplinary approach towards achieving professional success.
Course Structure: 1 Year Full Time on campus
Eligibility Criteria:
B.Sc. Physics/ Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ Microbiology with minimum 50 % marks.

Course Fees:
(I) First Installment: (By
15th July, 2006 )
Tuition Fees : Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand only)
Student Development Fee : Rs.2,500 /- (Two Thousand and
five hundred only)
Total :Rs. 12,500/- (Twelve Thousand and five hundred
only)
(II) Second Installment:
(Payable by 15th October, 2006 )
Tuition Fees : Rs.5,000/- (Five Thousand only)
(Student Development Fees does not include Examination

Academic Year and consequently details may vary. The
University reserves the rights to make alterations to
the courses and the Fees as necessary. All students are
